I currently work in live services on the Post office project. In this project we work on the website. We complete updates and fixes when required, and generally look after the site.
Yes - I have learned an awful lot in terms of how businesses work, programming, and also working in a live environment in which yo have to work quite quick.
I enjoy the programme to a fair extent, some points can be quite dull, and boring, however others are really fun!
I feel valued by Accenture. This is because I feel like i'm being treated as a full time employee rather than an apprentice. I am also offered many perks by Accenture which are always good.
The programme is really well structured, it is essentially a full time degree mixed with a full time job. Meaning I always know what I have to do, and the deadlines it has to be done for.
My main training provider is Sunderland university, the lectures there are extremely helpful, and are always on hand to answer my questions.
I received a lot of support from my employer as they are always taking an interest in what i do at uni, and are always willing to help.
In the first year the salary really isn't great, and you can sometimes struggle, however when you get onto second and third year the pay rise makes things a bit easier.
Yes - Accenture have teams in almost every sport, and always host events which you can get involved in.
Yes
Because it's a really good apprenticeship, and a really good place to work.
Be prepared for a lot of learning, and always have the will to do well.
