My current role is Public Sector Internal Auditor, I am responsible for conducting start meeting with clients, completing system walkthroughs and sample testing, and then producing reports to highlights any risks in the system and then recommendations on how to deal with these.
I have learnt so much since joining Mazars. I am much more confident and am able to conduct various meetings and provide evidence to support my opinions of the systems.
I've thoroughly enjoyed joining this programme as I've completed my AAT qualification and have so much more confidence and experience since joining. I also feel as though this have gave me a great start in my career life.
I feel very valued by Mazars as they have supported me immensely since starting the programme. They are happy to meet with me and go through any issues I am having and have supported my education.
My programme splits into various sections, such as work/training. on the training side I am provided with study leave days in order to complete my exams, and during work I have multiple managers who are happy to go through any issues with me.
My training provider is First Intuition and they are amazing. They provide me with so much support and structure the classroom course efficiently so that I can take in all of the information.
My employer has supported me throughout the programme and is happy to provide feedback to help me improve and further succeed. Everyone is very hands on and willing to help.
My salary is very generous and any expenses I incur during work, such as travelling to clients is returned to me via expenses so that I am never out of pocket.
Work conduct monthly and quarterly code of conduct awards (of which I have won both) and the winners of this are invited to attend a meal with various partners of the firm. We are also allow one community day to help with various charity events.
