My role involves managing the recruitment process from start to finish. This consists of taking vacancies, adverting jobs, shortlisting cvs, sending cvs to the client and writing profiles, arranging interviews as instructed by the client, receiving interview feedback from the client and passing this on to candidates. I am also responsible for answering the phones, providing a high standard of customer service to all candidates and clients, requesting p45s for candidates, attending job fairs, using social media such as linkedin and job boards to source candidates. Further to this, I am responsible for registering candidates which involves interviewing them and identifying key skills they may have for the role they are applying for, carrying out background/referencing checks, sending out payslips, ordering stationary and marketing.
I have gained new skills in my role such as customer service (both face-to-face and over the phone), organisation skills and I've learned to adapt and prioritise work loads in a high-paced environment. I have also development my personable skills as I am constantly talking to people all day every day be it either on the phone or face-to-face.
I enjoy my programme to a large extent as I am constantly being challenged and learning on the job.
