I am a Trainee Associate at the moment. This mainly involves checking the more basic parts of the audit, for example expenses to invoices etc.
I have learnt to be a lot more professional and how to act in a professional environment. I have learnt how to act in a professional way and conduct myself.
I enjoy my programme a lot and the people at EY are definitely the key part of working here.
I feel reasonably valued at EY, however I do feel that we do not get enough individual recognition of our effort as Associates.
Our programme is not very well structured at all, infact we do not even know how our pay levels are going to progress over the years!
I feel that I receieve adequate support when I need it.
I feel that I receive support when I need it from my counsellor, however the buddy system EY has in place has failed for me as my buddy does not contact me at all.
I feel that our pay package in comparison to the grad scheme is poor considering we do the same job.
There are quite a few activities and events outside of work in the form of networks, these are easy to find and join if you are interested.
Yes
I would recommend EY to a friend as it is a good way to get the ACA qualification.
I would give the advice of just be yourself and be confident.
