I have been working in the property department most of my work experience. I've been helping out paralegal as well as trainees. I've been looking at leases and drafting documents throughout the experience. I met senior associates and different people working in different departments.
I have gained many skills during this experience including confidence and attention to detail.
I have really enjoyed the program and working with all the people, everyone in firm have been very nice which made Pinsent Masons seem like a friendly firm.
I was valued as I got to work on real life tasks that trainees complete and had some flavour of what everyone does in firm.
This programme was very well organised as there were various talks from different people around the firm and even from some of the partners. I always had something to do throughout the placement and the supervisors were very supportive if I didn't understand something.
I received lot of support and trainees were there if I had any questions and the team around me could support me.
If I had any problems I could speak to anybody on the team and my supervisor.
I had to pay for my own travel and lunch but the firm was kind and gave me a £5 voucher for lunch for the first day.
I had some coffee breaks which gave me opportunity to talk to other lawyers on the floor.
Yes
It is a really friendly firm and the experience offered would help later in life on career path on becoming a lawyer.
Do not be nervous when first coming to the firm as everyone is friendly around.
