The programme was the Business Insight Week. It gave us experience of the Consulting, Tax and Assurance service lines of the firm.
Yes. The programme teaches you the necessary skills for future applications to PWC and their various programmes. It gave me an opportunity to develop skills in different sectors such as communication, teamwork, and building relationships etc.
I really enjoyed the week. I would have maybe enjoyed it more if I was given some real work to complete or if I had the opportunity to visit a client site.
I felt like a valuable member of the team. I was always involved in discussions with different people. I would have felt more valued if I had been trusted with real work however.
I felt that the week was well structured. I think communication before the week could have been improved as details were changed multiple times without much notice.
The training provider gave us info on all sections of the firm, how to use laptops, how to apply in the future. We discussed interviews, the application process and different routes in the firm.

The costs on the first day of geting to the induction are only covered up to £100 and most train tickets cost more than this. Other than that, the salary was very good.
Yes for employees who work longer in the company.
Yes
The week was a great experience and I think a lot of students would benefit from it if they were interested in this line of work.
There are a lot of processes and stages involved in the recruitment process so I would say to take your time to make sure it is completed to a high standard.
