We took part in a week of work experience. On the monday we had an induction day in London, learning about professionalism at the workplace. Then tuesday, wednesday, thursday i soent shadowing employees in the assurance and tax department. Friday involved some enjoyable client charity work.
I learnt how to use excel very well and learnt specifically about capital gains tax in the taxation department. I also learnt how balance sheets of companies are assembled.
I really enjoyed the program, getting an experience of the real working world. It has allowed me to meet new people and make connections in the corporate world.
Very valued, was treated as a full time employee and felt the staff were very welcoming
it is very well structured with activities organised every day of the program.
My training provider taught me how to do certain tasks and then gave me the independance to attempt these tasks myself.
HR team was very helpful especially during the recruitment process.
