During the week I worked in tax, assurance and consulting as part of the Pwc business insight week. The daily tasks I had to do were to check financial statements, read case studies, talk to the other employees of Pwc, researching. Every day I would always interact with my colleagues and ask them questions such as "what path did you take to get to where you are now?" I had to be part of a team and do a project that we had to present to everyone else which was about TeachFirst.
I have developed my communication skills, team-working skills, problem solving skills, commercial awareness.
Overall I enjoyed the programme because I was able to work in tax, consulting and assurance which I really enjoyed because it helped me decide which line of service I would like to work in. I enjoyed working in teams and presenting the best ideas and solving problems. The company culture is very positive and friendly and I believe that working in Pwc is a great opportunity. My expectations of the programme were exceeded when I finished the work and realised how beneficial this week was for me. And most importantly I enjoyed the week and would gladly work there for a longer period of time.
Working at Pwc for only a week I felt really valued from the directors I met all the way down to the associates.
The programme could have been more organised as one day I was waiting till 10am for some one to collect me.
the training provider gave me all the support I needed to carry out the tasks that were set for me.
My employer also gave me a lot of support and help about anything I asked her. When I had problems I would always email her and she would quickly respond and help me out.
Very well I had to travel to London and Leeds and Pwc will reimburse me and also pay me for the week.
There are plenty such as programming lessons, spanish lessons, events and activites and also sports that go on.
Yes
It's the best employer out of the big 4 and an amazing environment to work in.
Study well, research as much as possible, be confident and show your enthusiasm to work.
