Being in the assurance sector of EY
I've learnt a lot during my time at EY, you learn a lot very quickly.
I enjoy the overall job but the lack of communication and overall organisation of the programme is not as strong as for other programmes such as the graduate programme.
Very valued and lots of trust is given to school leavers
Communication overall is not good. Often we do not hear about training events/college dates until the last minute and this is something that we often chase for.
Often any questions that we have are left unanswered and this is something that the cohort of school leavers as whole sees as a real issue.
Personally I receive a lot of support however from discussion with other school leavers this is not something which is consistent for everyone.
I currently live with my parents so currently this is not an issue however if I were to move out this salary would be a real issue and therefore this is something which is prohibiting me from moving out.
There are opportunities out of work but when you're working very long hours these are not things which can be easily attended.
Yes
Enjoyable programme but the overall lack of co-ordination and planning of the programme ruins the good factors.
