A one week programme to get an insight into PwC and the work that the employees do on a day to day basis.
I feel I have improved my teamwork, networking and business skills on the week. It has also given me self-confidence that I could succeed in the application process.
I really enjoyed the programme. I learnt a lot about the company and enjoyed the team I was working with.
I felt valued by all of the teams I was working with. They trusted me to do work, this gave me the opportunity to try new things that I otherwise wouldn't have done.
The programme was well organised. PwC gave all of the work experience students laptops and organised many different events that I could attend to help me develop new skills and get new experiences.
All of the buddies that I had through the week were very supportive and gave me all of the help and encouragement I needed to complete the work. As well as giving me helpful tips and advice to progress to the next stage of the process.
The HR team was very supportive. I found I received multiple emails through the week with tips to help me. I also felt if I had any questions the team were very friendly and approachable.
PwC covered the costs of travel through expenses as well as paying a good wage.
I was only at PwC for one week so I wasn't given many opportunities outside of work.
Yes
I found the experience extremely beneficial.
I would tell others to have more self confidence when applying. Practicing online tests would also be very helpful.
