I was assisting in the planning and projects department. I completed tasks set by senior solicitors and trainees.
I have learnt how to work effectively in a professional environment and how to complete tasks quickly to ensure they meet the deadline.
I enjoyed it very much not only did I learn a lot about the world of law but also learnt a lot about myself.
The staff made me feel very valued and I will keep in contact with them and hopefully apply in the future.
My programme was very well structured I was on a different written schedule each day
I recieved an awful lot of support and guidance from my training provider, they made the experience more comfortable.
Again I recieved a lot of support from my employer all of the staff were always willing to help.
Non applicable as it was a non-paid paid work experience programme.
There are many opportunities if you know where to look for them now that I have been informed about them I will most certainly take them.
Yes
The staff had a great rapport with eachother and managed to work effectively together in a professional environment. All members even the most senior are approachable and willing to give support. The diversity is very comforting and represents a flourishing society.
If there was anything I learnt from this experience is that you have to make yourself stand out from the crowd, grades are very important but everybody gets them. You need have other hobbies and extracurricular activities that define you and give you transferable skills into the business.
