I work in the customer service department in the Lifetime Mortgage Team. For me this involves completing customer transactions, such as processing paperwork for customers and then making checks to ensure we are able to process their money to them.
I feel that I have learned how to communicate better in terms of both face to face and written. I have learned how to talk appropriately over the phone to customers and so I feel that I have further developed this skill.
I would say to some extent. It is a challenging programme, with lots of benefits although at times work can be repetitive.
I feel valued by Prudential as a lot of money is invested in the apprenticeship programme and I am treated just like any other employee.
I felt that at the beginning the launch pad was very useful as this gave an early indication of what to expect from the programme. However I feel there is not a lot of organisation from our qualification counterparts and at times I feel that further training could have been provided. However I must say that that I am given a lot of support and also feel that my pdp is appropriate to my learning.
I feel that I personally receive some degree of support from my assessor. I feel that he gives good feedback, however this can take a while to actually get.
I feel that I receive a great deal of support from Prudential and the people within the organisation. My whole team are always available to ask questions and my manager is very kind and welcoming so this makes it easier to ask for support.
my salary meets my costs to a great extent. I feel that it is a generous but appropriate salary for the work we carry out.
There are many opportunities out of the workplace. I have attended volunteering events as well as Team lunches. Prudential also comes with certain discounts for restaurants i.e. nandos which is brilliant.
Yes
Because it is a huge company with so many opportunities for developing yourself. The salary is very good and is you can meet new people and learn new skills.
I would say that you need to firstly decide on your own skill set and what jobs match this and then simply prepare good examples for interviews and look to see what skills Prudential wants.
