It has been a great journey so far and I am looking forward to the coming years. Severn Trent is a brilliant company to work for as they provide you with extensive support and help you enhance your career.
Very valued. People from the business are always saying thanks you for the work you provide them. Especially project managers- as it can get quite stressful for them and just being that helping hand makes all the difference. Always get involved in different tasks and get ask if I want to do anything in particular to progress and increase my skills.
Structure: Induction- Training- Study days- Work along side when studying- help is given- tasks help if it gets too much.
I have received a lot of support from my peers and managers. Everyone is very understanding that working full time and doing a degree apprenticeship can be demanding so everyone is very supportive.
My employer provides me with all the support. I get mentoring and have access to managers diaries if I feel I need extra support.
Salary is ok, not the greatest, however it does go up every month. Travelling to and fro work you need to pay for, Unless you get put on training which the location is different to your place of work you will be reimbursed.
There are soo many opportunities that are available. With the extensive amount of knowledge you gain from Severn Trent, the world is in your hands.
Yes
Brilliant culture, Friendly, Welcoming, Always helping, Lots of training provided, Career progression, move around to different departments to get experience.
Be honest in your application, be yourself and show that side which no one has seen. Be charismatic and show your abilities. Assessment days can be quite daunting but don't fear, just take it as it comes. Do a lot of research into the company and why you feel you would be the best candidate (as its a very competitive role) You may be asked to do a role play, presentation or paper exercise. good luck :)
