Service analyst - on a day to day basis I'm focused on supporting the service that we provide to our client. This is from dealing with incidents, end user queries and being mainly client facing to resolve issues
I've learnt a lot about creating a rapport with people and coordinating with multiple teams onshore and offshore. I've also grown confidence and learnt how best to problem solve in a high pressured environment
The work aspect has always been the focus for me and a lot of what I learnt on the job assisted with university modules
Feel part of the organisation and don't feel like an "apprentice" - you are treated like any other employee which allows you to get on with your work and grow your career
It's a very straight forward three year course with modules set out and 4 days working a week unless university is on a large holiday I.e. Summer
This could be improved as it's not easy sometimes to know where to go for support
They are supportive in allowing you to take time to focus on studies and do training which is great
It is better now that we are qualified
There's a lot to get involved in and a community of like minded people
Yes
Great foot in the door and you gain a lot of experience in a short space of time.
Be yourself and be aware of what's going on in the world as this is key to market trends and university
