Day to day I carry out the Reporting for all the Projects that go on in the Ops world. I interact daily with everyone in my team reaching almost 200 people because of the information I am required to gather.
I have already passed the first exam within my apprenticeship and am acquiring new skills everyday. The broad title of my jobs means I am never doing the same thing and am always learning how to carry out new tasks.
I really enjoy my programme as I feel there are so many people in the same boat as me who I have become very close to. My team have also welcomed me with open arms.
I feel like the tasks I carry out are the same as any other employee would, after just 4 short months with the firm people are coming to me for help with certain topics which I have gained the knowledge on in my job role. My manager is very supportive in everything I do.
I think the balance and structure is very well balanced. Although the exams are hard giving us one day off a week is the right amount of time to put in to get a good result out.
The support received from the team in charge of the programme has been phenomenal and I would recommend to anyone not sure on what they want to do to take on an Apprenticeship here.
So much support. I speak one on one with my manager at least once a week and she helps me with anything I need. If there is something additional to this when she is busy I know anyone in my team is willing to help.
I would say the Salary is ok. I wouldn't say that I am short of money but for a full time role and paying rent/for a car/parking and going out it does because very tight and fairly hard to save.
We are constantly given sporting opportunities, interviews, school visits, meets up, team building exercises. You never feel short of stuff to do.
Yes
Because I really enjoy working here and feel like if University isn't the right choice to you it is the perfect way to ease you into full time work without the daunting idea of it.
I would say that you should really act yourself. The whole point of the numerous interviews is to get a feel for your personality and if you're someone they would want representing the firm.
