I attend college 5 days per week, I have since September 2016 and will finish June 2018, then should start on the job work which will entail maintaining wind turbines.
Yes, I have leant a lot of mechanical skills and I am developing my previous knowledge on electrical.
I enjoy going to college to learn about the theory and on occasion put it into practice in the workshop. I'm looking forward to the challenge that awaits.
I feel Siemens value everyone of their employees whcich allows them to further their skills even more!
The programme was well structured at the start, but due to the merger, some of the structure has changed due to unknown circumstances. I feel it will all be sorted out as the merger settles down.
The college provides a remarkable amount of support to its students wether it be work related or not.
Our employer provides support for us however due to us being at college, we rarely require their assistance due to it being sorted out in college by the training provider.
The salary is well suited to the work we are doing and I feel it is suffice for the employees.
I have not yet been able to experience any outside of work oppertunities.
