  • PMO, this means that I am responsible for helping the general running of the account and making sure that hings such as actions from minutes are kept up to date

  • yes, learnt how to organise, minute and run meetings.

  • 3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
  • I enjoy the programme however I feel that it is not necessarily very education focussed. It is aimed more towards the work that we do for the accounts than our own progression

  • 4. How valued do you feel by IBM?
  • I feel that they value me greatly as an employee from a company perspective but feel that on the accounts we work for the other employees dont necessarily understand what we are here for

  • 5. How well organised/structured is your programme?
  • We have formal training once every 6 months and that is about it, I feel that there could be more structure in order to try and achieve the end goal of passing the apprenticeship.

  • 6a. How much support do you receive from your training provider?
  • I do not hear from the training provider, we only ever hear if there is an issue.

  • 6b. How much support do you receive from your employer?
  • I receive plenty of support with regards to being able to take time off when i require it as long as work is not majorly impeded

  • 7. How well does your salary/package meet your costs?
  • Salary is incredibly good for our age and I feel that the increases are timed well with our experience.

  • 8. Are there many opportunities outside of work?
  • there are plenty of opportunities if you want to look for them but you are not forced in to anything which is good

  • 9. Would you recommend IBM to a friend?
  • Yes


  • 9b. Why?
  • As long as the apprenticeship does not change from how it is run currently (by a significant margin) in regards to pay and training I feel it can be a good experience.


  • 10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to IBM?
  • Be different and showcase what you do that no one else can. IBM reviewers like to see someone who has some unique ideas and will give you a good talking point!
