BAE Systems Higher Apprentice within maritime services, working towards HNC, HND NVQ4.
Very large focus on learning and development while learning at level 4/5 while also developing key fundamentals of engineering with PEO tasks.
Despite a heavy work load the programme content is very interesting and worthwhile. The programme is largely theoretical until placements begin.
Regular meetings with other apprentices and employees with chances to participate in working schemes and events as well as introductory visits to sites and important information.
The programme is well structured and planned with the programmes content and schedule well known to all involved.
College is a very supportive environment with great lecturers willing to help and support where possible.
Regular meetings and training sessions are arranged for participation by all involved in the programme.
Very good salary package meeting monthly costs of rent and general living.
Involvement in the stem ambassador scheme is actively encouraged.
