Assistant Associate. Daily tasks include admin work to set up projects. If on a project, work involves research, creating tables and graphs and writing up information. Business development is also a big part of my role: preparing decks for clients to inform them of any upcoming opportunities.
I have passed 2 ACA exams, completed multiple e-learning trainings and have significantly developed my soft skills as well as Excel skills.
I am able to build my career and skills at a very young age, and become exposed to a variety of opportunities. I am able to work with a wide range of people and get to understand different businesses as well.
I feel valued by certain people. I do not feel that at this stage, Deloitte can do much to make us feel valued. Nevertheless, I feel valued by all of my team members in each project I have worked in.
Not very organised - the BPP scheme is very confusing and not much support or guidance is provided. Me and my coach at Deloitte feel very detached from the system and I feel like I am not achieving much through their scheme and requirements.
not much at all. I feel like they do not understand the difficulty of meeting every criteria in the reflective statements.
I believe they are not anymore informed than I am in regards to BPP. Other than that, I receive a lot of help and support from my colleagues and coach.
I am happy with the salary I am on, my travel costs are a significant part of my monthly wage, but I am content.
A few - I am part of the gym.
Yes
I believe it is a very good challenge as well as a perfect opportunity to start a career with full academic support and unlimited support and chance to grow.
start early - practice the assessments and have an open mind about the whole opportunity. Get involved and make as many friends as you can in your first few days!
