I am an Assistant Associate in the Audit team, my daily tasks involve communicating with client as part of the audit, as a new member i have been welcomed into the job role very well by both my team and my client.
My communication skills have increased massively, due to talking to clients, also my professional behaviour has improved and now I know how to act when around client, also my technical ability has improved dramatically in my first 6 months.
I find this job great, compared to all the other options out there I feel like I am getting the best path. I get to learn and work and at such a young age its the perfect starting position. It's better than expected as I have had more responsibility from the start.
I feel like I am an important part of the team not just someone who has to be carried on. From 2nd year Grads to Director have all been able to talk to me about my work and encourage me.
The Programme is very well organised the training and settling in stage in September and October helped the programme run smoothly and now I have experience in the job I feel like they go hand in hand,
My training provider get in touch every couple of months to talk about my progress, a virtual platform is set up for me to communicate my new skills. I know that if there are any issues with the programme I can turn to them
My Employer are very good at understanding my position when it comes to exams or other apprenticeship related tasks. They understand that I am new to the job and they have good patience and allow me to progress.
Transport cost are expensive and that is not reflected in my wage, for somebody my age the money is very good. The wage does allow me freedom through out the month.
