Processing payments for the bank and calling back any queries or issues to clients. Preparing payments to go over to be keyed, calling clients to ensure payments are genuine before release
Yes, Learning new skills everyday and continuing to develop existing skills within the business. Alongside this doing the apprenticeship work is also aiding development
The team that I work within are all friendly and welcoming, the role met my expectations and I am enjoying it. I look forward to continuing to work within my role alongside the external learning.
I feel valued by my team members and by the other staff within RBS. I am treating no differently to any other member of staff, I am allocated time alongside my day to day job to completed apprenticeship work.
The programme is well structured and clear- The ILP is clear on what needs to be done and when. - However I do not feel that the functional skills ICT is as well structured as the information is quite scattered.
I receive as much support as I require.- If there are any questions there are two different emails that are set up to deal with queries- any I have had come back efficiently
My employer is very supportive- I am allocated time on a weekly basis to complete apprenticeship work and I have a monthly review with line manager to ensure I am staying on track.
The salary/ package is in line with the other members of staff within the role- This meets expectations as I undertake the same duties
Yes- There are emails that come around in regards to taking part in charity events for the bank, Networking outside of work and meeting other members of staff you wouldn't touch base with on a day to day basis.
Yes
Overall the whole apprenticeship is incorporated well into the way RBS works. They are fair and allow time to complete work required, and you are valued as a member of staff.
Be confident in yourself, If you can demonstrate the skills that RBS requires ( in line with their ambitions) then you will have a good chance. Always give examples to back up your statements.
