I am a network manager, my role is the maintain nostro accounts and relationshis with agent banks. I host some important team conference calls and undertake important jobs such as. Due Diligence, Account tool commentary, savings tracker.
My time management has improved massively, I can now prioritise a list of tasks and ensure they are all completed within a deadline. Also my overall confidence, especially within Public speaking. I now hold meetings and present in global calls, and senior management meetings which is something I would have never done before.
I throughouly enjoy it, I am not treated like an apprentice but just like another member of staff. I am given ample opportunity to excel and my manager really believes in me.
More valued than anywhere else I have worked - I am not treated like an apprentice but just like another member of staff. I am happy with my pay and my holidays and am given opportunites to work from home so i can catch up on my apprenticeship work without distraction.
I feel the programme is organised, we have enough time to revise the material in time for the exams and i like how we can re sit if we dont pass exams as it takes that huge pressure off.
I have monthly calls with my assesor which i enjoy as it gives me the opportunity to ask any questions or raise any concerns. I do feel though, the webinars were not so helpful. The teacher on the webinars was just reading through the revision material which is stored on the site and i could do this myself. I feel being in a classroom would have been more benefical.
My employer is so supportive. They are interested in the tasks i need to undertake & ensure i have enough time to get the work completed. My manager allowed me every fourth friday to work from home to soley work on my apprenticeship work and this is really helpful.
Very well - I didnt expect to be paid this much from an apprenticeship if i am honest. I also got a slight pay rise after a few months of having my apprenticeship and this really did motivate me.
There are many outside of work oppportunites. They run a lot of engagement activties like pay day drinks, or even key memorial events outside of work. It is a good opportunity to network with staff outside the office environment.
Yes
It is a great atmosphere to work in, everyone is friendly. I am treated like a normal member of staff and constantly have opportunites to improve and take on responsibillity which in turn makes me ore visible and helps to get me in a good place to build up my career.
Dont be nervous - it is a very proffesional environment but the people dont bite. Everyone is human and we are all here to work, you are just like everyone else. You will have a great career here if you work hard.
