I am in a customer facing role, where I act as a primary resource for any commercial business who need assistance with their every day banking needs.
I have developed my customer service skills by going out on meetings and interacting with customers day to day. I have also developed my work relationship skills by working with a wide range of people.
I really enjoy what I do day to day as well as working with a great range of people who help me whenever I need it. My working environment is also great.
I feel very valued by RBS, they always make sure to praise me for my work in our team meetings and have given me responsibility for a few projects.
RBS has let me have as much time as I need for studying and I have regular catch ups with my line manager to ensure I am happy with the role.
I have a monthly call with my tutor as well as regular webinar sessions which are an interactive lecture which helps with my studies a lot.
the HR department are easily accessible, so if I need a any help or have any worries I can always access them by either a phone call or a webchat.
I still live at home, so I have very little expenses. Therefore my salary is more than enough to travel into work.
I have attended a few networking events as well as work in my local community to promote the NatWest brand in schools and promote the apprenticeship scheme to young students.
Yes
It has provided me with many opportunities as well as provided support throughout my time at RBS.
To have as much experience as you can before you apply e.g. work experience, summer placements. Getting experience before you decide to apply will really give you a good idea of what your are applying for.
