My role is that of an Apprentice assistant relation manager, working alongside the relationship managers in a customer facing role to aid their banking requirements. Day to day requirements of the role vary significantly as customers are free to contact us at anytime during business answers with any questions or queries they have, and it is our job to assist them in any way it can, whether it may finding the correct department for them to contact or aiding them ourselves.
My time management skills have increased significantly due to the fact I'm both working full time as well as studying for my certificate in banking in addition.
Some days can be very repetitive in terms of the processing aspect of the role, however some days are really good in terms of meeting customers on meetings and seeing their businesses head on.
I am given plenty of support and included in all meetings with the team, I am treated no differently than any others considering I am the apprentice.
Very well, the learning aspect is very structured with timetables and revision guides provided to ensure I succeed. In terms of the working aspect, I have regular weekly meetings with my line manager to discuss how I am progressing as well as if there is anything I am unhappy with and what we can do to resolve it.
Overall good, have monthly calls with my tutor and am able to contact her anytime I have any queries.
As stated previously in question 5, very well.
My salary in comparison to other apprenticeships is exceptional, and gives me a really high incentive to work hard.
In terms of social aspects there are very few.
Yes
Gives a great platform to move up the business from an initial high level.
Work hard from the set off, the nature of the business is extensive and there is a lot of content you are required to learn, however it provides a great opportunity in the future.
