  • 3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
  • I enjoy my programme to the extent that I have learnt a lot in a short space of time and developed good relationships with my team and clients. There is a great company culture and working environment. Overall, it slightly exceeded my expectations.

  • 4. How valued do you feel by Deloitte?
  • I feel valued by Deloitte and the other members of my engagement teams. I have been getting involved in a variety of work. However, I think I could have been given more to do in the first couple of months to help me feel more involved.

  • 5. How well organised/structured is your programme?
  • The structure of my programme is relatively good as it allows me to spend the majority of time in the office developing practical working skills. However, external training does not start until almost a year in and so would be helpful to have a few sessions earlier on. There is plenty of support provided however, the end structure of the programme is unclear.

  • 6a. How much support do you receive from your training provider?
  • There is a reasonable amount of support provided by the training provider. Overall there is a good general attitude and I know where to go to ask questions. Sometimes my queries take a long time to be answered or there is a hesitancy in the answer.

  • 6b. How much support do you receive from your employer?
  • I receive a reasonable amount of support from my employer. I have a coach who I can go to with any queries and she has always provided great support with a good attitude. From a wider perspective it seems like few people actually know much about the programme and so are unable to provide support.

  • 7. How well does your salary/package meet your costs?
  • My salary doesn't to take into account my costs. It have found it quite expensive to commute by train everyday and have had to be weary of this. I live with my parents to keep living costs to a minimum

    4/10

  • 8. Are there many opportunities outside of work?
  • There are some opportunities outside of work however these are not very well advertised and I'm not sure which activities I am able to take part in. I struggle to find time to take part in many activities outside of work especially with an hour and a half commute. However, if I moved nearer to the office I would look for more opportunities.

  • 9. Would you recommend Deloitte to a friend?
  • Yes

  • 9b. Why?
  • Deloitte is a great firm to work for with a wonderful working environment. Deloitte has specific values which are upheld by all in the firm. There are a lot of opportunities provided to learn/expand knowledge and develop new skills

  • 10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Deloitte?
  • I would say that when applying to Deloitte the process can seem long but it's important to take one step at a time. Be able to show that you can work well in a team by giving examples and show enthusiasm to develop your knowledge. I would have liked to have been told to not worry about acquiring specific knowledge for the interview. You do not need to have any previous knowledge of the area you are applying for just an interest in the overall department.
