My role in Atos is First Line Support, in this job I take calls for IT support on the Open Service contract which covers a few organizations, users call in to report IT issues and I do my best to solve these issues or send to the correct team who can resolve it
At my role in Atos I have developed quite a few troubleshooting skills, I have learned to identify problems and how to solve them by the information given to me by users, also through QA I have opportunities to go on External training courses which will allow me to gain extra qualifications
I find my role at Atos very enjoyable, it is a good company to work for and provides me with lots of opportunities to progress, I find the work quite enjoyable and the team I work with are very helpful and can help me with any issues that I have
At Atos I feel very valued, I receive call quality feedback usually on a weekly basis to show me I am doing well, my managers have also noted to me that I am performing well and I received god ratings for my 6 month performance review
I feel like the programme is fairly well organized, my QA tutor comes out once every month or two to review my work and I have various external training courses that have been organized throughout the year
Qa provide me with lots of support, my tutor comes out once every month or two to review my work and he is very easy to get in contact with if I am in need of any help. there was also a point where I had to change the date of one of my training courses due to a busy period at work and QA were very easy to get in contact with and get this changed quickly
My employer gives me lots of support also, we have an HR portal which gives us lots of information on different company procedures and the team are very easy to get in contact with, my manager also provides me with lots of support with any issues I may have
I feel like my salary is good especially for an apprentice position, I have enough money to pay for petrol to get into work and for any other costs I may have leaving me with some left over
I previously had an opportunity to take part in some voluntary work outside of work, me and a few other apprentices went to a local house for disabled children and helped garden and decorate in preparation for their summer barbecue
Yes
I feel like atos is a very good company to work with and I would recommend it to a friend as they provide good benefits and plenty of opportunities to advance further
The advice I would give is to make sure you are prepared for the interview, my interview included a group activity and a one on one interview and also a phone interview before this, I would advise any friends applying about these stages and to ensure they are ready for any questions asked, fortunately the recruitment team advise you of all of these steps so I felt prepared
