  • 1. Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
  • I reticently joined CGI as a graduate level apprentice, So far we have spent most of our time in training, leaning programming skills and we have attended a two week long uni boot camp course. I have also been assigned to a practice project of sorts which involves robotics process engineering which is being treated as a real project to show us how real projects function.

  • 2. Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
  • I have gained some new skills i certain programming languages, however i am still in the process of fully understanding them, however the uni boot-camp did help as the lecturers gave good explanations and were open to questions. Team members at work are also able to assist me in my learning as they are experienced in the subjects that i am currently studying and they are happy to take questions.
