I am a fraud advisor in the non-plastic fraud team. My daily taks include checking payments that have been stopped for extra checks, reporting fraud on behalf of customer and securing accounts to prevent fraudulent activity from taking place on customers' accounts
I have definitely learnt both new skills and developed on my existing skills. I feel coming from the programme I now feel a lot more comfortable with my job role as my knowledge has expanded. I wouldn't of been able to have done the apprenticeship without my mentor Susan Barker. She would always be extremely organised with my work and help me whenever I needed guidance/help/support
I do enjoy the programme, especially knowing that it counts towards a qualification which I can take to any other job role within the company I may want to apply to which also helps with development. It met my expectations well as I didn't expect the programme to be as interractive as it is
I feel extremely valued within the company as we are always getting feedback from managers/colleagues about how we're doing. We also get feedback from customers which helps us to continue and develop within the role and see what we're doing well
The programme is structured really well and fits perfectly within my role in Lloyds banking group. My apprenticeship mentor has everything well organised where it is simple for me to see what needs to be done at the time and what needs to be done next - what I need to work towards
Lloyds banking training is at a very high quality. You get initial training when you move into the role and then you get time off the phones to update training to make sure you are keeping on to of everything
Everyone within Lloyds banking group is really friendly and approachable which means that if there is ever any support needed whether that is from a colleague, manager or senior manager there is always someone to go to
My salary meets al my costs plus more. The amount Lloyds pay per hour is a lot more than the minimum wage, which covers different costs and expenses like travelling to work and daily costs from when I'm in work
There are lots of different opportunities outside Lloyds banking group that the company organise. For example Lloyds banking group is very big on charity work and giving back. There are different fundraisers to raise money for a variety of charities and different voluntary opportunities that colleagues can get involved in
