My role involves cashering, balancing and maintaining our in branch deposit machines, providing excellent customer service, promoting and relaying information about products and complying with company policy and regulation.
My confidence has grown since working with Lloyds Banking Group, I have learnt more customer service skills than I did in any other customer facing job I have had. I continue to learn new skills weekly with my apprenticeship.
I love my apprenticeship, it gives me a strong foundation of my job role and I know what is expected from me. I get to visit different places, meet new people and also get a qualification by doing something I love to do!
I feel extremely valued by Lloyds Banking Group, the company looks after their staff well with supportive managers, awards for when you're recognised for doing a good job and even people in the higher ranks of the company check up to see how you're getting on.
My programme is very well structured. I have targets of when I should get work completed by and my apprenticeship trainer comes in monthly. I know where I am and how much more I am needing to do to complete my apprenticeship. We also have an online tracking system so you can visually see how you are doing.
I get lots of support from my trainer, he is available to call or email at anytime if I have any sort of promblem or question for him. He also gives me work related advice which has been really helpful.
I recieve tons amound of support from my employer, they are constantly guiding me in the right direction as I am wanting to progress in my career with Lloyds Banking Group. They have endless amounts of support with help and guidance support groups too.
My salary is the same as a regular Customer Adviser. It is a very good wage considering I am 18 years old.
Yes, I have already volunteered for Safer Internet Day to promote safe online use to primary school children. You can also volunteer and fundraise for charity too.
Yes
The company looks after you, they support your education and progression, the staff in my branch also constantly support me, day in and day out.
Do it. I applied being unsure about what to do with my life, however I have done it and never looked back. Lloyds Banking Group has shown me my true potential and I am glad the route I have taken was to be an apprentice, as I can continue to gain qualifications while doing what I love.
