The role is customer advisor and it requires serving customers and helping them use different services, e.g. the machines rather than the counter.
I have learnt a variety of new skills. These include developing confidence in talking to other people, learning how to use different systems and able to carry on developing in certain areas.
I enjoy this programme very much, you meet a lot of new and nice people who you are able to talk to like friends and family and you meet a variety of customers who you are able to build relationships with
You feel valued because everyone is treated equally and fair. You come into a new branch and they are all very welcoming
My programme is quite organised, the mentors that do the visits could be better as I have only seen them twice since I started within 5months of being here and it was a different person on each visit. When they come it is well organised but the visits could be better planned.
I've recieved one work book and they say i can contact anytime but the support is limited
I recieve a large amount of support from my employer, they allow me time to fill in the booklets and if need any support they will help to assit me on the questions
It meets my cost to a standard, I need to learn how to save my money more as I always spend it all quite quickly. The direct debits that go out of the account still leave me with money for the rest of the month.
I haven't really explored oppotunities outside work, however I know that we do a day to make a difference which when I take part, I will see it as an opportunity.
Yes
I think it is a great company to work for. You can develop your learning skills on a variety of different things and you are able to create relationships with colleagues and other customers. It is a great experience and everyone along the way is something to look forward to. It is a different experience everyday.
Just be yourself when applying, you don't need to impress anyone by being someone you're not, everyone is genuine.
