As a resourcing analyst on a day to day basis I am required to use a range of systems to place orders for new employees, monitor and track current requests and have strong stakeholder management.
I have developed my stakeholder management skills and also developed my confidence through presenting more and pushing myself outside of my comfort zone.
I really enjoy my programme, my line manager has been fabulous, very supportive and helping me to achieve my goals. The only down side of my Apprenticeship has been with the learning provider LBG use, I have been assigned 5 different assessors in a year and it has been a very long and stressful process from the learning side of things. However from the LBG working side of things I couldn't fault it!
Lloyds have lots of recognition schemes for high achievers which makes you feel very valued as a colleague.
The programme is organised and structured well, sometimes it isn't very clear who to contact if you have an issue with a part of your programme.
very little, if I'm honest I have been driving the whole NVQ side of things myself and had to push my 5 assessors that I have been assigned to do anything.
I receive a large amount of support from my employer, including my Line Manager and team lead who have supported me in the difficult times with our learning provider, helping me push to get my NVQ side of this apprenticeship completed.
It covers my costs however if I wanted to apply for a role in London or do a secondment somewhere else it wouldn't cover this, I think it would be great if Strong/Top performers on the Apprenticeship scheme could receive some financial support to do secondments in other areas of the country.
there are opportunities to get involved with charitable events as well as other events for example I was involved in the Emerging Talent Campaign 2016/2017 for LBG.
Yes
It's a great environment to work in, better salary than most other Apprenticeships and there is lots of opportunities for career progression.
Be yourself, show that you're ambitious and that you're really interested in what you're applying for, constantly network with people and always take on new things. Don't be scared to go outside of your comfort zone!
