I work in PBB Technology in the mortgages department within RBS. In mortgages, I am in the testing team, specifically a test analyst. This can involve writing test cases, scripts and executing testing that needs done then reviewing the outcome.
I have learned a lot more of what is all involved within IT and the apprenticeship courses with QA have broadened my knowledge on how to use windows 7&10.
I enjoy it very well. I have met lots of new people who I can see always being friends with. My team are and have been really welcoming and kind when I joined RBS and help me when I am struggling since I am working in a new environment.
I get praise constantly from my manager and team for when I have completed a piece of work effectively and efficiently.
From the start everything has been pretty straight forward. Although, I feel you should have a choice of what area you would like to go in other than being put somewhere you might not be fond of, which was not the case for me.
