My role consists of consulting with project managers on a day to day business. I have a lot of phone calls and meeting with project managers. my apprenticeship is more a business technology apprenticeship
my computer skills have grown, I now know how to configure and install Windows 7 and Windows 10. I am waiting for my next course to begin which is a Cisco course
My team is so welcoming and friendly and the office has such a great atmosphere. RBS is such an amazing company to work for with this being such an amazing opportunity. I enjoy it so much!
I feel like a full time employee and part of the team. I feel I am appreciated and valued by all my colleagues. I am 100% involved in ll projects and tasks
there is a little clarity needed on the next steps in the apprenticeship and a few things needing cleared up but I feel my programme within my team is structured well
A lot of support and guidance is given, all that I need to do is ask if I am unsure. I felt my external training didn't really relate to what my job persists of
I receive a lot of support from my employer. my manager always makes sure im confident in what im doing and I feel comfortable with my tasks.
For a 17 year old I think the salary is amazing, from just coming out of school I think it is a very competitive rate for an apprenticeship. with the move of buildings travel costs will be a little higher however
there are careers events for apprentices to go to, to promote the apprenticeship programme to school children as an option instead of university
Yes
the opportunities I have been given are amazing. I don't regret leaving school early to come here. they salary is good and the environment is great
be confident, practice interview questions. be prepared. just be open to trying something new and come out of your comfort zone as it will definitely pay off
