I am a Civil Apprentice currently taking on an NVQ doing day release at college. Daily I manage incoming and outgoing documents for large projects. I complete mark ups on drawings and help with various bid packages. Some of the projects I am working on currently are Fairfield Halls, Boeing GCG Hangar, HAL Tunnel and Crossrail 2.
By the end of this apprenticeship I will have achieved a level 3 qualification allowing me to gain a professional qualification with an institute. I have learner various skills that relate to the industry.
I enjoy the team that I work in and the people all around the company as they make me feel welcome 24/7
I feel very valued by all members of staff
My programme is very structured and planned very well. There have been a few occasions where some of the days have been lacking in structure but other than that it is great!
I receive various amounts of support the member of my team as well as tutors in subjects that I may be struggling in
I receive lots of support from the employer. This consists of HR, mentors/line managers and tutors
As a 16 year old the salary benefits all of my needs and funds all of them with extra money for my enjoyment
There are various social event that are created for the enjoyment of the employees. These can be sports days, beer fest, cinema events and even paintball!

It is by far one of the friendliest companies with amazing members of staff that support you through your learning and even after your apprenticeship is complete
