My role is to lead an influence people in the most effective way to drive performance, improve engagement and increase job satisfaction. Day to day, I have the inspire, and motivate my team whilst providing them with direction.
I have improved my ability to communicate effectively, improved my confidence in managing people, increased my influencing skills and my ability to manage ambiguity.
I have greatly enjoyed my programme, every day presents new challenges, and some certain tasks can be scary, but once you have pushed yourself and seen improvement, it creates great job satisfaction.
I feel that Marks and Spencer regard my development as a priority, and are excited about what new talent these programmes may produce.
It is structured and organised, but allows flexibility so you can display your personal strengths, and to develop your weaknesses.
My commercial manager gives me regular feedback, and I often ask for feedback from section managers so I can drive learning.
We have plenty of courses paid for, including travel, and are presented with lots of opportunity to learn more.
Well, I live with my parents so it is ok. It is certainly competitive against other employers.

Yes
It is a great alternative to university, and a great experience to have on your CV.
Go for it, you may be lucky like me. If you don't try, you'll never know. Be yourself, and if you're suitable, you'll get the job and love it. If you don't pass the assessment, then it probably isn't for you, as the assessments are heavily based in personality.
