My role at the moment is a customer advisor in the fraud department at Lloyds Banking Group. My job involves helping customers who have had fraud on their account by investigating how it has happened and also trying to get their money back and also unblocking payments for customers which we have flagged for a fraud check.
Doing the apprenticeship has helped me to build my knowledge on the proccesses in Lloyds Banking Group and also who I can talk to if I ever have any probelems which would affect me and my role and also about all of the different departments in Lloyds who are there to help me.
I really enjoyed the programme because as well as working at the same time it helped me learn more about my role and everyday knowledge which was a benefit to me. By doing this I am also able to pass on the things I've learned to my colleagues so I am able to help them as well.
I feel really valued by Lloyds Banking Group because I know they are always there to help me progess in my role and if I ever need advice or help with anything I know there is a lot of people I can contact who are there to help me in different departments.
My programme was very well organised because for every meeting I had with my assessor it was planned 1 month in advance so we would plan what I wanted to complete for my next meeting and what date and time the meeting would be so I could plan all my work beforehand.
I recieved lots of support from my training provider as she was always there to help me anytime I would get in contact with her and she also helped me plan my work and assisted me on where I could go if I needed further help completing any of the workbooks I had to complete.
My employer gives me a lot of support also as they always give me help on how to develop in my role and also regular time off the phonje to do any training or development. They also assisted me with my apprenticeship programme by giving me time off the phone to complete my apprenticeship meetings and any time I need off to do my apprenticeship work.
The salary meets my costs well as it is a good wage for someone my age and helps me pay my rent, buy food, and buy other things that I need. We also get paid unsociable hours depending on what times and days we work aswell as getting a quarterly bonus.

It is a good place to work and there are many oppurtunities to develop and get into different roles within Lloyds Banking Group. I really enjoy working here and would recommend it to all of my friends as it's one of the best jobs I've had. Anytime there are any jobs going in Lloyds I always refer my friends.
For others applying to Lloyds Banking group I would advise them to learn more about the company and the services and products they offer to customers. I would also advise them to learn about working in a call centre and what they would need to do in their day to day role.
