My job role includes visiting client sites and running testing and reviewing documents to ensure the controls in place are adequate to control the risk. I then write up reports to send out the clients
I have learnt many skills including reporting writing and using various systems. I am also studying towards Level 4 AAT. I speak to clients employees at all levels of the business on a daily basis and this helps to improve my verbal communication as well as the reports improve my written communication skills.
I enjoy my programme a lots as it exposes me to a wide variety of job roles and every day is different which helps me keep learning and improving all the time.
I feel valued by my management and team as I received good feedback on the work I prepare for them. I have also received good feedback from clients which is recognised by Mazars.
I think my programme is well structure as I have external and internal training sessions. I also have a training manager who managers how I am doing on the external training and support from the college provider.
I have a tutor but this changes for each course I complete with Level 4 AAT. I also get emails to ask if I need any help and advice is easily accessible when I need it.
I receive a lot of support from my employer especially my team and manager. I also have a 'buddy' who I can go to with job related questions which I find very useful. All of my team are eager to help.
I think my salary package is sufficient to meet my costs and allows me to go out and treat my self. I also get travel costs covered when I go to clients sites such as accommodation, food and travel.
There are lots of opportunities to get involved it, especially sporty activities such as the wolf run, Birmingham 10k... We also have Mazars monthly which is a social in the office on the last Friday of the month, we people get together for a chat.
Yes
I like the companies ethos and the way my team works. I also think the salary is sufficient and competitive. I think qualification I receive is also very good and the support I get offered is very useful.
Be yourself, and read into the company and make sure its right for you. also go in with an open mind. In the assessment day you may be with people applying for graduate roles, but don't shy away and show your skills as an individual.
