I am in the function of finance currently supporting the production teams with their spend. I create PowerPoint for the management committee which include graphs where I have to interrogate the systems in order to get the data.
Developed many new skills including excel which was enhanced by an external course. Internal courses are also their to help personal development.
Really enjoy my programme and would highly recommend it to anyone.
I feel valued at BAE as they give me a lot of responsibility in my roles and also they invest a lot of money in to the apprentices.
Very well organised from the minute you join. Adequate induction in to all areas and have a lot of support with all aspects of the job from both manager and assessor.
Regular 1 to 1 meetings to discuss progress in college work and also in placement.
A lot of support is available from the employer. In particular for me my managers have been brilliant.
As a scheme I feel that we get paid well.
We get the chance to go on company held events and also if we are STEM ambassadors then we can volunteer to help out.
