Training on different sections, such as, electronics, machining an fitting. Completing assessments and write ups on each different section.
I have definitely developed skills that I already had and learned new skills whilst increasing my confidence.
I'm working with a lot of people my own age and the company is ensuring the programme is running fully. I really enjoy this apprenticeship so far.
I feel valued by BAE as all trainers get to know you and are really easy to get on with and we are given responsibilities and good projects.
The programme is run and organised really well and structured in a logical way so that you get to see different parts of the company.
The training provider is always there to help you if you need it. However it is important that you ask questions or let them know that you need the help.
There are plenty of people around that help you or guide you in situations when you need help. HR are easy to get hold of and help with problems.
Im very happy with the salary as it is high for an apprenticeship and I live in an area with low living costs.
We have organised multiple events outside of work and we have been told about the opportunities available later in the programme.
Yes
Its a very professional company with amazing opportunities and benefits in the programme with an extremely high chance of employment after the programme.
The application process was smooth so not much is needed to improve that, we are also given a lot of information so there is no advice I could give.
