I work in Procurement. I work in PDS and Expediting. I interact with suppliers on a daily basis. I chase late orders, hold query meeting to resolve querys, update the order book, visit suppliers. With PDS I have a good interaction with engineers and Quality (cross functional working which is important) I am involved in the FAIR process which is making sure the quality of the parts is to standards.
I have learnt many different skills. Talking to suppliers Procurement role
