I really enjoy the programme, I enjoy working on the team I'm in and learning on the job, it exceeds my expectations that I had when applying for the apprenticeship.
I get recognition from the work I do and feel like I'm a valued member of the team.
The programme is well structured and we get specific training weeks throughout the year, we also get set days to complete Uni/College work.
I receive good support from our training providers, we get help when needed and they are more than willing to help.
We are all assigned a manager, Mentor and a career counsellor so we recieve good support.
The salary for the first year isn't great I find it difficult to to live near to work and travel to work, but I do manage.. just. Years two and three salary is much better and I will be able to meet my costs.
There are a number of opportunities outside of work for voluntary activities, company events and the company is great at facilitating any charity days off or perks to help with gym costs etc.
