My current role is within the insurance sector of the bussiness. I deal with home insurance queries. This includes change of address, change of banking details, cover queries and general home insurance complaints.
I have developed and learnt lots of new skills and improved upon the skils i already had. I have learnt how to adapt myself and my tone whilst speak to customer in difficult situations, such as a deceased case. I have also learnt alot about the bussiness i work for as alot of the tasks are research based or discussion tasks.
I am really enjoying the programme
I feel like a valued member of staff at lloyds and receive alot of recognition for my performance
The programme is very well organised which is easier for me as i can use my diary tool to slot in the apprenticeship appointments. It also helps when working through the programme as there are deadlines in place
My training provider offers alot of support during the programme if i need it and is very approachable
I do recieve support from my employer however as my training provider has more knowledge of the apprenticeship programme i am more likely to speak with her reagrding any concerns
My salary package is fine for now as i still live at home with oarents, however we do have lots of benefits whilst working at lloyds
There are a few opportunities outside of work based on the knowldege and skills i have built
Yes
I would recommend Lloyds to a friend as the company is so welcoming to new starters and the managers really push you to achieve the best you can
I would advise others to just be yourself as Loyds is such a diverse company you dont need to worry about being different or not understanding something first time
