My role as a customer service apprentice is to provide excellent customer service, dealing with customer enquiries, complaints and also booking appointments. On a day-to-day basis I am gaining more experience in customer service. I am also recording my experience by logging each successful step forward. I am working with my internal and external customers in order to become competent.
I have developed my communcations skills, still am till this day. I have also gained new skills such as commercial awareness which has boosted my knowledge in the business dramatically. This apprenticeship has risen my confident skills to a maximum.
I enjoy this programme hugely and I hope to stay in this sector for a very long time. I have benefitted from this apprenticeship programme amazingly. This career path is one of the best choices I have made in terms of developing for a better future.
I feel hugely valued and apprecited. British gas is very supportive and is helping me achieve my targets and goals. I feel British Gas really cares for it's employees, customers and others who are looking to join the business.
The apprenticeship is farely structured and is giving me enough time to put together all the neccessary evidence to succesfully pass with flying colours.
I am recieving the best support from trainers, manager and collegues.Everyone is very understanding and helpful which is pushing me to success.
The employer is supporting me to the fullest, and is motivating me each day to achieve the best results and position. Each day I have a one to one meeting with my manager to discuss my future plans, targets and goals. My salary is beyond expectations and is helping me secure a better future. The salary is allowing me cover costs and expenses confidently.
Yes, there are many opportunities outside of work. Such as taking part in public events showcasing how great this apprenticeship is. I have also taken part in a promotional video for new starters to the programme.

British Gas is an excellent place to be, I am enjoying every step of the way. If I am enjoying the programme this much, why wouldn't a friend? This organisation is very supportive, it is a friendly place to be. Everyone gets along with each other, and thats exactly what is needed to suceed. Team work.
Study the business, Takes lots of notes and give it your best at all times. I felt researching the business had given me a better understanding of how the business works.
