Smart Energy Meter Installer (Gas & Electric). Installation and testing of metering equipment in customers homes.
Yes, I have learnt a variety of skills during the training process.
The programme has been at times challenging and stressful but for the most part an enjoyable one.
Being such a large company with so many staff it is easy to be overlooked on a daily basis and contact with management is minimal so being valued isn't often expressed.
Structure during the academy process was poor however once out on site/patch it becomes more structured.
Support is always just a phone call away, regular contact is made by coaches who offer assistance if required
Training and briefings are scheduled regularly but that's about it.
Salary is ok however failing behind other companies offering similar job roles
Not that I am aware of
Yes
