Junior Associate, daily working on client sites and studying the apprenticeship programme that I am working towards. Internal interaction with other employees, ranging from other apprentices to Partners. External interaction with clients and other consultancy companies. Project on a defence client.
Developed Excel skills, how to conduct yourself in a professional services company and the difference between working for a big company and attending school every day.
The work is enjoyable and challenging at the same time. The team I am working in is made up of good people with good ideas and I feel a valued member of the team.
The appreciation and feedback from my manager and other employees is very welcome. The involvement within the tasks and the amount of responsibility I have makes me feel valued.
Very organised structure with regular tutor interaction as well as training days for exams. Very good idea having 2 hours set a side every week for studying.
The training provider are very engaging. The tutor will always respond to emails and is very helpful with any questions. She keeps us updated on our progress very well.
Support from the employer is good. They understand the level we can operate at, whilst making sure the work is stimulating and that we are learning new skills.
The salary is good, with good chances of career progression. Travel costs are covered by expenses when on client sites and all training costs are covered, this includes coursework and exam entry.
There are many socials which is a good chance to be able to network with other employees. There are also external networking opportunities with other companies around the same area.
