I am an apprentice smart energy expert with British gas. My day to day role involves fitting smart meters and giving smart energy advice.
I have learnt many new skills including electrics and gas metering installation and maintenance.
I have hugely enjoyed my programme and the associated challenges.
Extremely valued by this professional and genuinely caring employer.
I have been very impressed with the logical and progressive training programme.
Our trainers and mentors offer advice and support throughout the programme.
I have not had a great deal of direct contact with my employer but when I have, the support has been fine.
The pay during training isn't great but I am managing to get by.
I am not aware of any opportunities outside of work at the moment.
Yes
Because the training is first class and the end result is worthwhile.
Be honest, do your research and enter the training with a positive frame of mind.
