My role will be to install gas and electric smart meters and to offer energy saving advice.
I have learnt many skills,both electrical and gas
So far it has been a very enjoyable experience. I have met some great people and feel that I ha e benefited from a really great teacher.
I do feel valued at British gas, but more so from my team and team manager.
It is a we'll organized programme. It is a new programme so I am sure it will only get better
As mentioned before,our LDM is probably the best in the academy and offers a very high level of support.
So far they seem to be interested in making sire you are comfortable and secure in your work.
Obviously the starting wage is quite low when leaving a full time job to start this,bit the long term gains out weigh this.
I hope that there will opportunities to upgrade and improve myself.
