i am an operations apprentice so i am based on shop floor and move around to different placement
yes I have developed so new skills. this ranges from personal skills to team working.
I do not really enjoy my program. I think that there is a lot of room for improvement.
I do not feel very valued at MBDA as I am just an apprentice and you get given 'apprentice' jobs.
At times it is well structured, however i do think it could be a lot better than it currently is. it is now improving but slowly.
I do receive support from my LDO but do not receive much from college, Wigan and Leigh.
At times i do receive support from the company. this is mainly medically but support is still given.
My salary is very competitive and allows me to live my life and pay all of my expenses.
There are opportunities outside of work I.E events and awards but there does seem to be a female bias.
No
I think the scheme was over sold and made out to be something that it was not. personally I do not enjoy it, however I can see how and why some people do.
be confident and give it your best. Do not undersell your self. if you have any hobbies make them known.
