  • I go to people's houses and I do what I have been trained to do which is smart metering

  • Yes I've learned loads of new skills and helped me develop some skills I already had

  • I really enjoy it you meet new people and have a really good time whilst learning

  • Very valued they look after there own and the customers they will always do best by you

  • Very well structured I new exactly what was going on step by step of the way

  • A great deal of support was given not just to be but to everyone on the course

  • 6b. How much support do you receive from your employer?
  • Again a great deal of support not just to me but to the whole team I work with

  • 7. How well does your salary/package meet your costs?
  • Unfortunately not as well as other company's however it's not to say there's not ways to earn more

  • 8. Are there many opportunities outside of work?
  • Yes there is I guess your welcome to overtime and standby on call to earn more

  • 9. Would you recommend British Gas to a friend?
  • Yes

  • A good company to work for with decent pay and a clear structure of training as well as frequent opertunitiea to move forward in your career and upskill


  • 10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to British Gas?
  • Don't train before they like people who haven't been trained so that they can train them there way
