My role is an operations apprentice, on a day-to-day basis I assist people on my placement throughout the factory with their jobs and gain knowledge on different things about the company and various jobs.
I have widely developed my soldering skills and team work/independent skills, as well as developing new skills related to the jobs I completed.
I thoroughly enjoy my programme as it allows me to develop all the time and I get a lot of support and opportunities.
I feel valued within MBDA because we are always involved in different tasks and the managers show their appreciation. also there are always people being nominated for awards.
Quite organised. before starting any 'real' work we undergo a lot of training and there is always support for us if we are stuck.
a lot, we meet with our training provider every 6-8 weeks to ensure we are on track with everything and are given support when and if needed.
we are always able to contact our manger and if she isn't available there are numerous people we are able to speak to. I.e. line managers.
I have enough money to pay an direct debits and still have enough to spend on myself and enjoy myself. with me only living 6 miles away my travel costs are quite low.
yes, there are different events we can go to. for example, recruitment trips and awards evenings.
Yes
because I feel that for a young person it is a good company to work for because you get treated as an adult.
jus to be yourself and speak the truth.
